| Chaz, vocalist of Jacob's Dream and the formerly defunct Biogenesis left this message about the possible reunion of Biogenesis. | Quote: | I have noticed that there have been alot of people commenting on how they wish that Bio would have made another album. Reading and hearing that only makes me want to do it even more. The fact is I would love to see it happen. James and I have been talking about this for some time now. The drummer and Bassist of Human Paradox have agreed to take part in this if it should happen. In order for this to come true 2 major things will have to happen. 1. I need to find the time to work on it. As most of you know I am a full time member of both Jacobs Dream and Human Paradox and I want to make it clear that I do not want this to hender either of my 2 bands. 2. We will need to come up with a way to record the record and distribute it. If these things could happen then you just might get to see a reunion album and maybe a few shows. IF this ever happends I already have a title for the album but I wont reveal that unless it becomes a reallity. Only time will tell. We shall see.

What do you all say? Any fans of this band or their debut album? _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I loved their debut album when it first came out. It was different then what Rowe Productions was known for, but I think the lack of guitar solos made me lose interest in the band after a while. |

That was always my problem with the album too. It seemed like there were suppose to be solos in the songs but they were just left off. Chaz told me that they did record solos but their producer thought they weren't needed and didn't want to include them. Some of the songs sound empty to me without them. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| The 1st album was good but then things got out of hand with them and all the member changes and such. I just know for sure that the old bassist needs a beating severely.
I wish Biogenesis luck, but if they want to continue, go for it. |

| I would be interested in some new music from Biogenesis. I like that first release quite a bit. I did not find the lack of solos to be any sort of deterrent from enjoying the music. |

| Their demos were the best stuff they did. Wish they would have stayed a little more gritty like they were on the demos. |

| No I wasn't the original drummer. That was an idiot named Nevin Cline. I replaced that dude for like a month. I let him have his position back as drummer and I moved back to San Jose. Then I helped form AoB. |

Seeing how much of a thrash guy you are, it's hard to imagine you in a band like Biogenesis. I guess versatility is key. |

| I have a burn of those demos, but the copy sucks, it skips and pops all over the place. It's unlistenable due to it. I'd like to get a good clean copy of that. |

| Well I am not just a thrash guy. haha I like a lot of styles. Biogenesis just had a certain something about it that made it killer. There were thrashy parts, death metallish type parts and other stuff, but I always viewed it as a metal band through and through. |

I too was wishing for solos in the first album because the music was just so damn good. Fat Man From China is one of my favorite songs and definatly one I would cover if I was in a band. |

| I have a burn of the Bio demo that Jake(aka Trashcanman) burned for me years ago. The demo has guitar solos and as Saxon mentioned, is a lot grittier. I believe that the demo was recorded in a higher tuning than the actual release. The guitar sound on the demo is nowhere near as muddy as on the album. Anybody have the Metal Mardi Gras compilation? It has what was supposed to be a song from the next Bio album called Fall Back. Man, that song smokes!!! I was really excited for more material from them in that vein and then they broke up. I'm really excited for a new Bio album!!! |
