This was easy for me, Lou Gramm is one of my all time
favorite singers. Rainbow has never been much to me.

This "Dirty White Boy" would be as "Cold As Ice"
without my "Jukebox Hero", so "Say You Will"
get "Hot Blooded" and make it "Urgent" while
you are with your "Women" getting "Double Vision"
playing "Head Games"
telling them "I Want To Know What Love Is", and
"I Don't Want To Live Without You" on this
"Blue Morning, Blue Day", so don't "Break It Up"
or "I'll Get Even With You", but "Do What You Like"
and go "Back Where You Belong" "The Damage Is Done"
man how "Love has Taken It's Toll".

It seems really odd to describe Rainbow as a 'generic foreigner' - it's the kind of thing someone might say who doesn't really know much about the bands music but wants to appear like they do. The only similarity is JLT did have a kind of similar voice in those days (he's older and squeekier now of course) but that's it. Ritchie Blackmore was dominant in Rainbow's sound, and Rainbow's albums contained more consistently good songs but were less commercial. Foreigner on the other hand made very good singles but then padded out their albums with boring fillers. Lou Gramm was the best singer of the two but JLT was still damn good and Rainbow was a far better band musically (in all their line ups). Well that's my opinion anyway but each to their own Smile
