I don't know about Les Paul, but I know that twenty years ago today, Sergeant Pepper taught the band to play. _________________ "God's the ultimate playa, so naturally He's going to have some haters," rapper Ice Cube said. I know I've read this somewhere, but now I can't remember. I think it was the very same guitar-player he replaced in the band._________________ |

I know that during The Battle Rages On tour Ritchie Blackmore quit in the middle of it and then Joe Satriani finished out the tour and Morse became a full-time member after that. |

| Then it was probably Ritchie himself that recommended Steve. _________________ |

Joe Satriani did recommend Morse to the band. DP asked Satriani to join full-time but he was too busy with other projects, so he gave them Steve's number and told them that Morse would be a better fit anyway.
Since he's been the guitarist for almost 15 years now (over twice the length of Blackmore)...I think they made the right choice. |
