I've pulled on Superman's cape and I've spit into the wind, but despite all that, I know not to mess around with Jim. That's just stupid.

I've pulled the mask off that old Lone Ranger, but like Sax and MG71, I too understand that messing around with Jim would be folly.

I wouldn't suggest messing with Bad, Bad Leroy Brown either...he's the baddest man in the whole damn town.

True. I hear he's badder than old King Kong, and meaner than a junkyard dog.

One of my earliest memories is learning to sing these songs with my Mother.

My Mom listened to Jim Croce's records all the time when I was a kid too. Him, and Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Growing up, I must've heard Frank Sinatra's Bad Bad Leroy Brown about a million times.

Friday with Frank and Sunday with Sinatra with your host Sid Mark. My dad's favorite radio program.

Did he listen to that before he went out and whacked some snitches?

Sorry, I suppose that's a negative Philly stereotype. I'm sure your pops wasn't a mob guy.

Not as far as you know. He worked in construction. He's got a great story about the whereabouts of Jimmy Hoffa though. I won't go into details, but it involves the Florida everglades and some hungry gators.

Thank you sir, and married life does tend to mellow you out, to quote David Lee Roth 'Wine, Women and Song' become 'Beer, old lady and TV'

Anyone remember in Crocodile Dundee when the chauffer says: Bad bad Leroy Brown, Baddest man in the whole damn cemetary? Funny line that for some reason sticks with me. Probably because of the song.
