I envy all of you. I have been to 20+ countries and rely on hand gestures or the fact that most countries speak, at least, some English. If I had the patience, learning a different language, hell - ANY other language, would be on top of my list. Until I garner that patience, I will have to remain a fat, lazy American slob. Man, even the Mexican population is not all that big in Minneapolis! |

| I'm lucky to speak English! I think to learn another language, you need to start as young as possable. The longer you wait to learn, the harder it is, I think. |

That's my problem, too damn lazy w/ no patience. I took Spanish I in high school and barely got out with a C average. |

I know a few English words and I can speak Bavarian dialect fluently, which is a separate language to most Germans. |
