Got a chance to hear the final version of "Steeler". Robert really let loose on this one. The entire song gave him a chance to spread his wings and shred a bit.

Final artwork and master CD have been sent to the record company. Really hope you all enjoy this CD. We had a blast recording it. The production is very heavy and raw. While these are covers, I think our engineer Ysidro Garcia really captured what we sound like on this one. We have never recorded an album this quickly before. With the exception of "Locked in Chains" and "Wratchild" we recorded the entire thing in a months time.

Sin After Sin sounds killer! Some awesome bass and drum work in that. And of course, the band have Ultimatumized it almost beyond recognition! :lol Nah, you can still hear what band they "stole" from. I'm stoked!

Will there be liner notes included regarding each of the song choices and the background on how/why they were chosen? I am one of those geeks who spends more time with thank you lists, liner notes, recording information, and other info as such than lyric sheets. The story's behind the songs are something I have always found cool.

If not on the disc, can you find the time to write a bit about each track here on the board?

I just wanted to say although our time line was extremely short, I think we honestly did a pretty darn good job making this record. Way better than "Pit" from a sonic perspective and tons more cohesive. I would have loved to spend some more time polishing things up, but I do believe that there is a "raw" kind of vibe on this tribute that may have been lost if we actually would have been given more time to mix. I enjoyed the process and would like to thank Ultimatum for putting their faith in me once again to help them deliver the goods. Although recording covers can be fun, I can't wait to get into some new original Ultimatum and really show what we're capable of achieving together!

"Cant Get Out" is perfect! I love your take on it. It almost sounds better than the original. I was on the fence about this album until I heard that track. F'n awesome, guys!
