I understand that it is a lot of work to do these threads, but why start if you don`t keep it going? The Quiet Riot seems to have stopped, not to mention Mott The Hoople .

As an addition to the established "one person per band" idea, how about adding in a "one person per album" variation? That way multiple people get to write about a band they like without being on the hook to author an entire discography. Might be easier for some of us busy folks to contribute more.

Step One: Pick a popular band that we haven't done yet.
Step Two: once the band is selected, then we'll open up enrollment for an album, first come first serve.
Step Three: Manny or I will then create the discography thread with the list of authors in the first post.

I know I don't post here much, and I know the two bands I'm about to petition about aren't very popular (anyone hear who likes them, feel free to chime in), but could I do the first few Tygers of Pan Tang and UFO Albums? And others could do the ones after the ones I'm familiar with.
