| I split the AC/DC thread with rattpoison, he will handle the Bon Scott years (my fav era of the band) and I will handle the Brian Johnson era, and I assign my self Ted Nugent unless Ulti wants to take on his discography. Candlemass to Dave the Boss and Tesla to James B. This list should take us to 2020! |

Of course, Spec, question did you want to make Accept and UDO a combo thread or make separte discography threads? |

I guess separate ones that I would do in succession. |

| Awesome job with this subforum! And I mean awesome job by everyone in general - it's been the posters' insights on specific albums, albums people may not usually talk about that much, that make the concept interesting. Of course you need someone to carry the topic and move it along, but a simple subjective band commentary without the people is a thousand times less interesting.
Having read all the other threads, I know the bar has been set quite high, but I could maybe jump in and help at some point, too. I see a lot of my favourites are taken, but luckily not all:
The ones I'd feel comfortable doing that haven't been taken yet are Iced Earth and Blind Guardian. I'm a big fan of both bands and I know both back catalogues by heart. Both are among the few bands I've actually bothered to not only collect studio and live albums, but singles too. Been lucky enough to see both bands live, too.
Maybe I (or someone else) could also do a combined Circle II Circle/Jon Oliva's Pain/Chris Caffery/Doctor Butcher commentary at some point, too? Just a thought...
What I'd especially like someone else to do is Overkill and Rage. Two big discographies I'd be interested in getting into. I like what I've heard of Rage quite a lot, but only own one CD. Two from Overkill. Maybe Impellitteri, too. I just purchased Eye of the Hurricane and that's my fourth by them.
You should know that I travel quite a lot, so depending on the time when either Blind Guardian or Iced Earth come up, I may not be up for it immediately. So I don't mind if someone else takes my threads, but just let me know when it's time and I'll let you know if I can do it then. |

| Lari i have assigned Blind Guardian and Iced Earth to you, as far as your suggestion of combo threads on the various spin offs and solo projects of Savatage is not a bad idea, many major bands have alot of solo projects etc , I would like to see what other members think of your idea. Thank you for your input and thoughts. |

| At some point when I get around to the King's X thread I'll probably throw in all the side project albums at the end of the thread...since they basically go together.
Putting these at the end of a thread wouldn't interrupt the flow and would actually increase the information contained within, a good idea Lari! _________________ |

| I was just thinking today how this subforum has made me see some of my favorie bands in a new light. I get to hear the albums chronologically, and some of them i haven't listened to for a decade! It really gives me new insight to bands I thought I knew everything about musically. _________________ |

| Oh, I'll do the demo too, yes. Oh for nothing else, then to spite you. Maybe this will be the place where I post my entire Ultimatum collection? It will def. be cool to do it now when the new album will be out. _________________ |

| I'd like to say thanks to all of the folks that are doing write-ups on all of the discographies thus far. They've have all been well-written and informative (even yours Freddy). I haven't had much to contribute, but it's sure been a blast reading the descriptions as well as the additional comments. Good job, fellas. Keep up the good work. _________________ A legend in posting since February 1st, 2007

Make sure you start the Helloween thread with the first 5-song EP and not the full length WALLS OF JERICHO album. I have a long pointless story about my years-long quest for a copy of that EP that I'm dyin' to tell. _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"
