| Great band. Eternal Nightmare is their best album, a thrash masterpiece. I like all three studio albums, though (yes, even Nothing to Gain). |

| Oppressing the masses is my favorate followed by Eternal nightmare. Sean Killian had a real cool cadence to his voice, not really the best vocalist but pretty unique I think. _________________ |

| The only one I have is Eternal Nightmare. It doesn't compare to Machine Head is all I know. This is one band (well part of a band) that has gotten much better now. |

Wow. I don't think I've ever heard anyone express that opinion before! You seriously like Machine Head more than Vio-lence? The only M.H. album I can enjoy and really get into was the debut, Burn My Eyes. After that, meh, no thanks. Even the new one doesn't really do much for me. I really enjoy Vio-lence. Eternal Nightmare is my fav, but Oppressing The Masses is VERY close behind. My favorite song of theirs is from Oppressing; Liquid Courage! LOVE that track! _________________ What a strange, strange freedom. Only free to choose my chains.

| By the way, Scott, you spelled the band name wrong. It's Vio-Lence, not Vioi-Lence. |

| Great music but one of the most irritating vocalists in the history of thrash. _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"

| Eternal Nightmare is a must have for any thrash fan.I dont have a problem with the vocals at all but could see how they would be a acquired taste for some.Torture Tactics is also great. |

| What's everyone's beef with the vocals? I've never felt he was one of those love 'em or hate 'em vocalists. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| They needed Steve Perry on vocals. Then they would've actually been a good band! He's definitely a love-em-or-hate-em vocalist but I can't hardly imagine anyone else on vocals in this band. His lyrical slant is also pretty unique and fitting and is one of the things that set them apart from many other thrash bands at the time. |

| I personally love the vocals and Eternal Nightmare would be my favorite. One of my better used finds in the last couple of years was the Eternal Nightmare reissue for 5.00 plus 30% off in one of Hastings midnight release sales. I could barely contain my joy at finding it used much less for that price.
Their DVD is a must see. I'm probably the only one - but at the time I would have paid anything to see a Run-DMC/Vio-lence show. Just one of the many crazy mis-management stories the band endured. |

| The vocals can be irritating but the music is good. I saw one of their reunion shows back in 2001 @ Slims in S.F. My favorite song by them is Officer Nice. |

You should go to funeralmoon.com, you can get a Vio-lence T-shirt for 10 Euro including shipping, they also have other rad thrash T's for bands like Forbidden, concrete sox, Atrophy, demolition hammer, etc..._________________ |
