| Dug this one out today and gave it a spin after not hearing it for quite some time. I still have a hard time understanding what people hated about this CD. It's a good heavy metal album IMO. ult _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I like this album a lot. Of course I'm a Wayne fanboy to. The song Falldown is almost as good as anything off of Metal Church or The Dark. |

THANK YOU!!! I am one of those people who NEVER understood all the hate for the album, other than the pro-Christianity bent of much of the lyrical content. Musically, however, it's rock-solid, sounding almost like it could have been the follow-up to "The Dark" in many ways, albeit a bit older/wiser band. I just listened to that last weekend on the way home from a family gathering - killer stuff! |

| I loves me some Metal Church, but I'm sorry, this album bored the hell outta me. Wayne's vox were terrible, he sounded nothing like his old self. I was so stoked when I heard MC were coming back... till I heard this record. Traded it off soon afterward.
Then a few years later I thought "Was it really that bad? I don't remember" and re-acquired it in a trade. Yup... it really was that bad. So off to the trade pile it went again! _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"

| I love this album. I think it became popular to slag on these guys for some reason. |

| I don't hate it. But it just doesn't stand a chance agains those early classics. The songwriting isn't nearly as good, and as of writing this, I can't even remember one song from the album without putting it my CD player. _________________ |

| Sorry, but this is a good cd. It was a breath of fresh air to me when it was released. I really don't think there's a weak song on it.I still listen to it alot to this day. |

| I have only give it one spin since the time that I bought it a long time ago when Virgin records was closing, and I did not like it. Probably when I feel in the mood to give it another try I will see what happens. |

| Well I haven't listened to all of it but what I HAVE heard sounds almost like Munroe era style Metal Church but with Wayne on vocals....in other words, sounds perfectly fine to me. Don't get the hate here guys. |

| This album re-sparked my interest in Metal Church. I kinda lost interest in them for a long time, then one day I was in Tower Records and saw Masterpeace in the new release rack. I had forgotten about these guys, so I thought I'd give this one a shot(having an Aerosmith cover on there helped too). I liked it just fine. It seemed so fresh and new to me at the time when metal was kinda falling off the radar. After hearing it, it made me wonder what I had been missing with their other releases and eventually I went back through their catalog and picked up everything else I was missing. Sadly, this would be the last new release that I would purchase from Metal Church. Once again, I've lost interest in them and their newer material. If I saw their stuff for cheap in the used bins, I'd probably snag it, but I'm not going out of my way to find them either. _________________ A legend in posting since February 1st, 2007

| First Metal Church album I got. Back in the days when I had under 100 cd's in my collection, this was a frequent in the CD player as it was one of the few metal CD's I actually owned. |

That WAYNE album is surprisingly friggin awesome. That guitar player is a total monster. Incredible riffage and top-notch playing all-around. |
