| The new down album takes a more considred and rounded song writing approach that still manages to lose none of the potency of nolaa awesome sludge riffing.
yet a more polished production takes the raw edge from the music which is only just rectified by the heavily downtuned guitars that still gives it a raw edge.
phils vocals are reveiwed as weak yet i would say he is just trying to sing in a different style to his usual pantera mode. of course his major surhery could mean he cant sing that well anymore
nether the less a good album

| | I just picked this up over the weekend and I dig it. I've liked these guys since their 1st album and this new one is right up there. I'll have to see how it holds up over time, but for now, I really like it. |
