| I ordered this one on Lala, not expecting much.
I'd recently got many Sepultura albums through Amazon and I love each of them, so I added all the Soulfly albums on LaLa and the first 3 were instant ship.
Definatley not Sepultura, but also not really the nu-metal it gets labeled either. Honestly, this sounds alot closer to Pantera then any nu-metal. (I'm only specifically refering to 3, I haven't gotten the other ones yet!)
With that said, I enjoy this album being a Pantera fan myself... but it really is no Sepultura... at least not the Sepultura with Max. |

I have the first one coming, from what I heard on Amazon i'll probably be sending that one off. |

| | I think its funny that people are bellyaching for Max to come back, but its not like they're going to record a masterpiece like they did in the 80, it would probably sound more like Soulfly. |

| I ended up getting 5 of them on LaLa (im probably going to order the last one. ) I liked the first one, 3 and Prophecy... but I ended up pushing stop a few songs into Primative.
The Derrick Green era of Sepultura is much better then Soulfly, but thats not really the point I suppose, the only point i'm making is that the people that want Max back in Sepultura would probably get a Soulfly CD with the Sepultura guys. Should they keep using the name? Probably not, but thats not for us to decide. |
