| Heading out to the Witchcraft show tonight (w/Graveyard opening up), I'll try to stay sober enough to post a review later.

| Okay, I made it home safely (thank you public transportation). All I'll say at this point is that Witchcraft is the REAL DEAL!!!!!!

| Seeing a band live is usually the final indicator on how I ultimately judge them, so I was a bit apprehensive at first about my first Witchcraft gig, not being sure if they could capture the vibe of their records.
I was stupid to be apprehensive...
These guys SHOULD be heard live, they are just flat out AMAZING. One of those groups that just casts a spell (no pun intended) the instant they hit the stage, they owned the crowd 30 seconds into their first song. There is an effortless groove at work, Magnus Pelander is great frontman and you can tell these guys are just having a great time playing live. Every song was better in it's live incarnation than on the studio albums, these cats are REAL.
I expect big things from them in the future.
(p.s. - Graveyard was pretty damn good too, but paled in comparison, give them a couple more years though and they'll be impressive). _________________ |

| Wasn't Clutch playing, too? Or am I thinking of a different show? I thought another band was playing. _________________ "Happy people have no stories." —Therapy?
