No. Tykkus is much more straight forward heavy metal. Not unlike Saint or Dokken.

I've not heard the other two bands. They are all local bands from Phoenix. All I know is that they are all metal bands. Tykkus is great live, if you like traditional heavy metal like Saint, Priest, etc.

I live in Phoenix too and it's good to see some good metal play here. All I hear about in Phoenix is grindcore stuff and death metal with all of those pig grunts and smurf poo.

Haha..I kept wondering what that was all about.

Anyway, I wonder if the other bands will be death metal. It's be cool to see some thrash/classic metal. I haven't see any in a while either.

No. We have a guitarist filling for us from Phoenix and he doesn't know it. We will be playing a few older songs and a lot of new songs from our upcoming album. We will be playing Greed Regime from that album though.

You don't want to live there. I live about 2 hourse south of there in the reletively cool Tucson, Arizona, and we are supposed to get up to possibly 109 F this week. Looks like they are forcasting about 113 F for Phoenix.

Dave Mustaine did live here but moved back to California because his "side job" of raising horses were croakin' in the heat.

I can deal with and actually enjoy the heat HOWEVER anything over 110 down here is extremly painful... brings brimestone and fire to reality for me. 9 months out of the year its a paradise.

Coming from one extreme to another I prefer to take the heat!

Ultimatum ROCKS! cant wait until the 13th
